Cinderella
Yesterday our local newspaper published a review about our portrayal of Rodgers and Hammerstein's " Cinderella. I've never had a review mention me specifically before so I thought I would share his wonderful comments with you all.
" Week one has had Lynnette Stahl and Kristal Murray playing Minerva (stepsister #1) and Caliope(stepsister #2) who both give a new definition to ugly...and funny."
A new definition to ugly! That means we dont even fit current ugly. They had to make up a NEW definition to fit us. Oh ya ... and then we were funny!
The paper then goes onto describe the music of the musical
"It is a musical and the blending of voices is really good. Jason and Candice or any of the other solos and duets are "right on". Even the "Stepsister's Lament" is "perfect" (Not exactly beautiful, but perfect nonetheless)"
So I have to say that this was pretty much the greatest thing anyone has ever said about me. So here are some photos and you can be the judge ( at least of the ugly part)

Y'all broke my camera with your "beauty".
you know... most people disappear all the time to morph into superheros and the like... your "morph" is a wee bit on the scarey side... but it looks like it was fun. Good job!

Sometimes people say "the evil stepsisters" but we weren't even that evil. Just quirky, dorky, and.....a new kind of ugly!
WOW!....A performance I'd love to see.
It looks like you gals had a lot of fun. Don't fear stepsisters, those styles are coming back!! Perhaps not "soon", but they'll be back.
The bottom one may be confused with you giving birth.

in that scene step mom is plucking my eyebrows. Everytime I acted it though I had flashbacks from labour
Those two pains are not in the same catagory are they? Or are they? If they are in the play, I think stepmom should take up a job in spy type torture....that is, if there are any openings.
Hmmmmmm, I wonder who you'd call to inquire?
Either way, you look very believably in pain.....Bravo.
It's marvelous to know that plays are still going on, and just as delightfully, at the arts acadamy... nice job Lynnette...
